Decosimo's IT Director to Address JHI Conference in Miami

Brian Joyce manages all aspects of Decosimo's information technology efforts, including planning, design and implementation of network systems, client and server side applications, security analysis and SOX 404 Internal Control testing. Brian joined Decosimo in 1981 and left in 1983 to run his own technology consulting practice, Microcomputer Consultants. His firm specialized in the implementation of computerized accounting systems for medium to large-sized corporations. Today, Brian is the Director of Information Technology for Decosimo, overseeing the IT infrastructure for all five Decosimo offices in three states. He is a Novell Certified Netware Engineer, Certified Netware Administrator, and a Microsoft Certified Professional. Brian is active in many civic and professional organizations and was a Georgia State Representative from 1992–2004. ABOUT THE CONFERENCE: This year's JHI IT Conference builds on the success of previous events, which have welcomed JHI worldwide members to a series of stimulating and interactive sessions. This year's event is again being organized in collaboration with the Information Technology Alliance (ITA). Attendees will discuss a range of issues which concern all areas of practice management. Specific agenda items for the JHI Conference include ongoing discussions on paperless working, enhancing communications, EDP security and risk assessment, Client Relationship Management (CRM) for CPA firms, spam and antivirus management. |
