Cummings Joins Decosimo Construction Niche Team

ATLANTA, GA (November 24, 2010)– John Cummings, CPA, recently joined the construction niche team of Joseph Decosimo and Company, LLC (Decosimo), a Top 100 public accounting and business advisory firm with Georgia offices in Atlanta and Dalton. Serving as assurance supervisor in Decosimo’s Atlanta office, Mr. Cummings brings significant construction industry expertise from past employment with a Fortune 500 international project development and construction company.

Prior to joining Decosimo, Mr. Cummings served as the lead auditor on numerous construction attestation engagements, including general contractors, highway and heavy construction companies, electrical contractors and international construction companies while with a large CPA firm in Atlanta, Ga. He attends annual conferences and seminars focused on the construction industry, such as the the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Construction Conference.

Mr. Cummings is a member of the AICPA, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Construction Financial Management Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.
