Fraud & Forensic Accounting

Decosimo’s litigation support team provides fraud and forensic accounting services to business owners, physician practice groups, corporations and individuals.  Our professionals  use the latest techniques to look beyond the numbers to resolve and investigate allegations of misconduct, fraud and white-collar crime. We team with computer forensics specialists, qualified in digital information acquisition, authentication, and reconstruction, who can discover or reconstruct data thought to have been deleted or destroyed.  Our sophisticated data extraction software can also identify unusual transactions, trends, or relationships.

Holding Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credentials, our forensic accountants work with clients to develop efficient and effective strategies to measure the extent of damage, collect evidence, write clear and concise reports, testify to findings and make recommendations for improvements to controls and procedures.

Additionally, in cases involving fraud, we prepare a report that supports our opinions, and we have the background information in our files to validate the calculations in our report.
